How Prismic performs from inside China
Prismic’s services and data are hosted in AWS facilities in Northern Virginia, USA.
As a result of the sheer distance from China and China’s Great Firewall, most websites built with Prismic either won’t open or are extremely slow in China.
To test the performance of Prismic in China, we ran a China speed test on a media asset hosted with Prismic.
As we see above, content delivered with Prismic is highly unstable in mainland China. On top of the stability issue, Prismic does not have the legal licenses to bring their content into mainland China.
